Quality Assurance

From the quality of the customer service we provide, to the quality of the linguists we source, to the quality of the translation and interpreting services we offer, you can be assured of a professional and expert service from start to finish. Our Quality Assurance standards ensure that you are getting the absolute best at all stages of your project and we have gained the highest standards in the industry.

ISO Certification

Lingua Translations has been awarded both the International Standard 9001:2008 industry standard and the ISO 17100:2015 translation–specific standard. These assessments act as a benchmark to gauge the quality of our business, and our certification demonstrates our ability to consistently provide a product that meets our customers’ needs, as well as all regulatory requirements.

We are committed to continually complying with these standards, and making improvements to our procedures wherever possible. This certification means that customers of Lingua Translations can be assured that they will always receive a service of the highest possible quality.

Commitment to quality:

We ensure quality because we recruit only the very best, because we know what to look out for and what makes a translator exceptional. Both our linguists and our Project Managers are chosen according to stringent vetting procedures, allowing us to be confident when we say we provide maximum quality

Tried and tested procedures:

Our Project Management is second to none with steps taken at every stage to ensure that your translation is returned to you how you want it, the first time. From the building of a glossary of terms, to the completion of a Project Brief before the beginning of every project, we make sure that we understand your requirements and work hard to assign the right translator or interpreter to the right jobs. You can be sure that our experienced in-house Project Managers, all from linguistic backgrounds, will provide you with a committed, personal approach and will tailor your project to your every need so that you receive your it on time and on budget – ALWAYS.

Proofreading & review:

Our Project Managers will review and check the finished translation and send it to the proof reader if this service is required or will check that all parts of the texts are in the right order and ready to go. The document then is returned to the translator to track and accept changes. Once we are satisfied that everything is to our high standards we will send you the finished translation.

Customer focused approach:

We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and transparent pricing process. Drawing on our extensive experience, we offer a free consultation service and are always happy to accommodate even the most urgent of assignments! Your experience with Lingua Translations will always be personal. As professional linguists working in the language industry, our Project Managers are knowledgeable, experienced and you can rest assured that they will provide you with the type of service that only a linguist based company can provide every step of the way! We pride ourselves on providing an approachable and friendly service for our customers, ensuring that they receive the service that they deserve through a highly personable service.

Technology:

We make sure that we stay up to date with the latest in translation technology. This does not mean that we use Machine Translation – instead we utilise Translation Management Systems which help improve the efficiency and accuracy of a translation. In this way we can maintain consistency on larger projects or one project translated into a range of languages.  Lingua Translations is proud to be an SDL Trados Official Partner as a global LSP user of their revolutionary translation technology. We are one of the few translation companies to offer discounts to customers whose projects can be aided by SDL Trados.
