Elodie’s Blog as an intern | Week 7

An intern at Lingua Translations 385x131

Hurry, 4 weeks left to learn as much as possible about the exciting world of translation and interpreting!

Every single day, I realise how lucky I am to have been accepted in Lingua Translations for my internship. A translation agency is the ideal place to learn about the industry. I would  absolutely recommend this internship to any translation student.

Working with experts in Project Management gives me an insight of the industry requirements. Both on a client point of view and on an agency point of view. Being in contact with translators allows me to understand their industry expectations. I can also see what makes them successful in such a competitive world. I still have a lot to learn from both sides!

So I enjoy every single day, because whatever happens at the end of this internship, and whichever path I chose (translation or PM), I know that I will start my career journey in a competitive international market with a good “professional baggage”.

A translation agency is the ideal place to learn about the industry, and I would recommend this internship to any translation student.

And now I realise I forgot to talk about my lovely week! I juggled with translation, domain research and reorganisation of translators’ database. Next week will be a translation week, as we would like to finish the translation of the website. Can’t wait to start!

A bientôt!
